The following individuals have the privilege and responsibility of leading the ministries of Bethlehem Christian Academy. Get to know the leaders serving at BCA.
Olivia Bissey
Executive Director
Olivia joined the BCA team in 2024. She spent over a year gaining administration and management experience at the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home before coming to work for BCA.
She was married to her husband, Alec, in 2023. You can often find them hiking together, trying new coffee shops, or playing pickleball.
With a passion for missions and caring for children in need, Olivia says, “I’m so thankful for the opportunity I have to do something I care so deeply about, as BCA advances its mission of sharing the hope of Jesus with children all across the world!”

Shane Cobban
U.S. Bookkeeper
Shane handles the accounting for BCA. Shane and his wife were on staff with Cru for 19 years before he went to work overseeing the accounting department for Real Wood Floors in West Plains, MO, in 2008. He and his wife have been married for 23 years and have 4 children.

Austin Meador
President
Austin joined the board in 2020. He currently works for Bayer Crop Science in St. Louis, MO. He and Jennifer were married in 2004 and have 3 children.
Brad Delaughter
Vice President
Brad serves as Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church De Soto, MO. Brad is married to his bride, Kristin, and together they have 4 crazy kids (Jackson, Michaela, Jase, and Jacob). In addition to serving as Lead Pastor, Brad also serves as a hospital chaplain, is the Director for National Sustainability and Missouri Team Lead for Prison Seminaries Foundation and is an adjunct professor for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Brad has served as a prison chaplain, church planter, and church revitalizer. Brad has a Master of Arts in Christian Education, as well as a Master of Theology, and a Ph.D. all from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In his spare time Brad enjoys time in the gym, hiking with his family, and cooking Cajun meals.
Adrian Palmer
Adrian joined the BCA board in 2023. He holds degrees in Math and Physics from Southwest Baptist University and is self-employed, running an online woodworking business. Adrian and Kemper were married in 2019 and are expecting their first child.
Martin Winslow
Co-Founder
Martin is a co-founder of BCA, Pastor of Families/Children and Missions at Canaan Baptist Church, Team Leader for the Missions Mobilization group at the Missouri Baptist Convention, and is on staff at the St. Louis Metro Association as the Director of Education as Mission at City Christian Academy. He and Amy were married in 1998 and have 5 children.
Daniel Carr
Daniel is the senior pastor at Canaan Baptist Church and an adjunct professor of Old and New Testaments at Missouri Baptist University. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. He’s also a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv from the Billy Graham School of Evangelism and Missions. He is married to Tara, and they have 7 amazing children and 1 awesome grandchild.Austin joined the board in 2020. He currently works for Bayer Crop Science in St. Louis, MO. He and Jennifer were married in 2004 and have 3 children.
Kurt Wiehe
Secretary
Kurt is a co-founder of BCA. In the past he served on staff for Cru for 10 years, and is now the owner/operator WE Tumble in West Plains, MO. Kurt and Melissa were married in 1991 and have 5 children.
